This album has really grown on me over time. Particularly the tracks "When I Was A Girl" and "Here Come the Birds." It's a solid offering from start to finish, beautiful and deeply personal lyrics. I have an admitted bias in having known him, but I would encourage anyone with a taste for lyrically driven folk music to check out the music of the late Detroit-based David Blair.
