A big disappointment from a band with HUGE potential. Their debut was a perfect stepping stone to something amazing, and everything looked right with this record - brilliant artwork, name, track titles, killer vocals, drums and atmosphere. But every song moves at a plodding pace and relies way too heavily on slow dissonant guitar-strumming, failing to actually go anywhere. Hopefully next time they'll perfect their songcraft. Cotton Rose and Vinous Red are the standouts.
