Solid 3 here, for personal reasons alone. I remember hearing these guys years ago - someone threw
them on YouTube after they toured with Paramore. And this CD seems to be their EP + better
production + a couple new songs. They have a fantastic sense of rythm and melody, but I'm just
bugged by the forced falsetto and inclusion of piano. It makes it sound like these guys are a
Tooth & Nail band playing it safe when they're obviously pretty talented. Like an alternate-
reality Anberlin, but going full-Disney. I think whatever they do for a follow up is going to be
great.

Edit: Okay, I lied. This one's a grower. While some serious cheese remains, there's a lot of
little nuances or basslines or melodies you pick up on after repeated listens. The softer/slower
tracks are a weak link. Whitest Tiger has some really cringe-worthy verse lyrics but the chorus is
fantastic. Gonna Stay and Agape and The Revolutionary are other favorites.

But easily the best one here is Cleona. Very catchy.

I would classify this a pop rock, and not in any derogatory way. But I could easily see these guys
going into a prog pop-rock role and sounding something like a mix between Coheed and Anberlin.
That would be really, really cool.

I've been waiting for this album for a long time now. So glad it's finally out. It is ridiculously catchy. Might write a review soon if I can find the time
