Funerary march between melodic doom that tests your patience and void-of-form doom that tests your patience. "background music to hell" [2] but like a sadder version of hell.

I saw Willie's soundoff and decided to give it a go, and I'm glad I did. Funerary have come up with some profoundly solid trip-y funeral doom metal on their debut album. While the rhythm section is merely crawling like a snail, the guitars balance between crushing doom parts and subtle yet psychedelic lead melodies, while the vocals range from totally ripped out shrieks to chorus-like chants placed in the rear. Favorite tracks: "Atonement", "Beneath The Black Veil".

Very atmospheric and abstract funeral doom. It's like the background music to hell. Pretty damn good.
