| 2.5 average | nospromos | June 26th 09 | What can be said about this group? I fear that there are more bads then there are goods. From the very start of the album it starts out with a beat that kinda makes you want to tap to it, but then they add a count to it and it just takes away from the track. The vocalists voice then starts and it sounds good but then they switch vocalists and you can tell this guy just doesn't belong singing. From the very moment he opens his mouth he sounds like he's forcing every word out of his mouth. Though the chorus redeems them a bit, it just isn't enough. In general they do a good job at making you want to move along in some way or another, but every track just seems to remind you of the last. The duel vocals is nice, but the secondary vocalist needs work. The end track seems to fit them better. With a slower, more acoustic pace, it makes you think that they should have gone into the acoustic genre. Sadly that gets ruined around the 2:00 minute mark where they add the secondary vocalist and pick up pace. Over all, I would say this is one album I would not run out and buy. Maybe get it off of itunes at .99, but would not pay any more than that.
