| 0.0 | | December 29th 06 | I thoroughly enjoy the music of Dropping Daylight. Being a huge fan in their pre-Octone days, I was excited to hear their debut album. However, I was also slightly disappointed that some of their music sounds a bit different - "more produced," I suppose - on this album. There are even a few obvious lyrical changes, most noticeably in the title song, "Brace Yourself." Nonetheless, they still sound great to me. In this album, they have maintained what I believe makes them awesome - a unique balance of thrashing guitars, impressive vocals, and the striking accompaniment of a classically-trained pianist.

moments on this underrated gem of 2006. Proud to say these guys are from Minneapolis. Wish they would've
made it bigger.

| 3.0 good | rreddrop | December 22nd 10 | I was just most disappointed with the lack of dynamics in this album. Their previous album was such a rollercoaster of emotions, its what made the band so unique. Their new stuff is really good, check out Kidnap Kings.
