I think David did best possible step with this, adding jazz to Current 93 sound. The music is so vivid and touchable, I highly recommend this.

This is Current 93's "typical" dread, but with many sonic additions: John Zorn plays the saxo here - confirming the jazzier approach on I Am the Last - while Anohni and Nick Cave bring their vocal duties. Almost all tracks overstay their welcome, but each offers a fresh take on an already-known aesthetic.

After getting into Current 93 through recommendations from Myke C-Town, I believe that this is easily a top five album for the project and easily goes toe-to-toe with their best work like All The Pretty Little Horses, Soft Black Stars, and Swastikas for Noddy. This is definitely not a good place to start with C93 as it's also one of their least traditional sounding albums, but I believe this really should go down as a modern classic.
