Ever since these Icelanders deservedly took their place in the international vintage rock scene with Voyage, I wanted to check on their namesake debut not just for the sake of completion, but also because apparently some A&R somewhere checked this album first before brokering the band to the labels. It turns out, The Vintage Caravan is indeed more than a humble band start, as these guys have the requisite swagger to make the legacy they touch upon, sound as if it was their own alone.
