Dug writes the music he wants without apology. Unfortunately, this album all starts to run together, despite the attempts at variation. Dug needs collaborators which is why the music of King's X, KXM, Pinnick Gales Pridgen, etc. are usually stellar. Although far from a one trick pony, this album is just missing that little bit of input from other musicians which would have pushed this album from average to great.
