Coheed & Cambria esque alt-rock passages intertwined with odd Oceansize (and by extension, some Cardiacs spirited) structures/melodies are fused with a vocalist that is the chimera of Greg Puciato and Phil Collins doing the nasty fusion dance. Refreshingly *good*.

A very high 4, this is a serious grower and is still growing on me now. Thumpermonkey manage to be innovative, dissonant, melodic and brilliant all at the same time, with some At the Drive-In, Oceansize and King Crimson thrown in there. rAn absolute hidden gem of a band, just listen to Wheezyboy for proof.
