A classic, or a forgotten gem? This album is both. It is about time that someone shed some light on "Necrospirituals", This album was Stillborn´s debut and for some reasons the first album line-up got split-up before they made some serious impact on the scene.

If you listen to it today, it has no real genre structure. The album is all over the place, Rock, doom, a bit gothic sometimes, and of course the deep voice of Kari that made a big difference between first and further albums.

Songs like "Streetsatan", "Raising fits Cain" the unforgettable classic "Albino flogged in black" should appeal to fans of Black Sabbath,Sisters Of Mercy,The Cult (darker sounds) and some other influences that are hard to point out. If you can get hold to a copy of this album, buy it. It´s little of a mindblowing piece of art.
