This is a close to perfect soundtrack that really makes the listener feel they are in those
older times. It has both an old feel to it and Dyck also incorporates some modern elements
into it. Since this is a strategy game, it has a lot of battle music: some is faster
paced and some is slower paced. There is also slower paced music that almost has a sense of
travelling or restful feel to it. Now lets also not forget the songs that have the sound of
triumph, glory and celebration to them. Lastly, there are also two songs that have a female
vocalist singing and they sound amazing. Jeff van Dyck is definitely one of the more
unknown composers of video games, but he does a superb job on this soundtrack.
