I wasn't sure what I was going to make of Galneryus redoing some of their classic tracks with the new lineup however I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh the tracks sound whilst the changes wasn't too dramatic.rEven though I'm still in favor of Yama-B's vocals the overall sound was much more pleasing than I expected.

This album is meant for diehard Galneryus fans, even though all fans of Galneryus are diehard. The IronHearted Flag contains all re-recorded material from their albums before Resurrection which had their previous vocalist during those years. But this album isn't exactly an album of exact re-recorded material. Instead every song contains different intros that were added or lengthened to the original - the same can be said about the solos. Besides that, the vocals and production have more quality compared to the original.
