| 3.5 great | Typhoner | May 15th 13 | A remarkably consistent effort in which Flunk further solidify their sound. Lost Causes sees the band incorporating more of the trip-hop elements from their older albums into the indie sound that dominated This Is What You Get. The result is a nice balance of more "catchy" songs with electronic and trippy influences and of course Anja Oyen Vister's characteristic vocal delivery. All in all, I would consider Lost Causes to be their best album since, at least, Morning Star.
