DJ Rashad would end up making a name for himself as one of the most successful and influential disc jockeys in Chicago's history, due to his great influence over the juke and footwork genres. Here, on Jukeworkz, things are a bit rough around the edges, but the base sound is pretty solid. Some of the samples, particularly the ones on the songs describing all sorts of sexual escapades, are kind of obnoxious and hurt what are otherwise really good tracks. Several juke remixes appear as well, and they're pretty good as well, especially the remix of Rich Boy's "Drop". The highlights are pretty nice, and the mid-album stretch of "I'm Blowed", "Drop Juke Out", and "Itz Not Rite" is especially enjoyable. All this said, it's not anything close to what he'd eventually release, but it's still a enjoyable juke album regardless.
