Highly influenced by that fictional creature who has a hard-on for a full moon, the three piece death metal band Howling have made A Beast Conceived not only fast and nasty, but also thrashy, melodic, and definitely raw. The album really sounds like it was recorded on a low budget in the early 90's and that really adds to the charm of the finished product. One more thing...HOLY FUCK THE VOCALIST IS A WOMAN?
