| 0.0 | Runeii | March 3rd 13 | I'm hoping that these 3 tracks are considered demos by the band. There is no sense in Noise Pollution. One might think that such was exactly what the band wanted listeners to think, but this is not in a way that would compliment the band. The first two tracks are fast-paced noisy punks songs, however, the delivery of the vocalist(s) is/are unimpressive at best. A quick glance at the lyrics is all you need to know that they are of a rather typical political punk affair, fleeting in meaningfulness at best. The attempts at rapping in Fear Machine are not unlike Rage Against the Machine. However, they lack charisma, restraint, and flow, nor do they grasp listeners' attentions.rDigital By Birth certainly doesn't want you to think that they are one of those bands that seem to make the same songs over and over. While the first two songs are somewhat similar, they have their fair share of differences (such as the aforementioned rap attempts). But this is especially apparent in the 3rd and last song, Love Close By. It's a simply song, more akin to electronic artists with it's repeating sample and prevailing synth line. Love Close By, unfortunately does not add anything worthwhile to the album, rather it diffuses away any sort of coherence the band had with the first two tracks.
