3.5 great | EasterInTheBatcave | June 9th 16 | An underappreciated volume. Jazz-rock with electronics, and there are even glossolalia vocals (courtesy of bassist Jerome Harris) and a John Zorn alto sax appearance on "Tandal." Some tracks are funky ("Egion,") some jazzy ("Kasbeel,") but it's all performed admirably. Closer "Monadel" is a letdown, but besides that Pruflas is a wildly fun ride. "Neriah-Mahariel" is especially fantastic.
