Release Date: 1999 | Tracklist

Review Summary: Fat Possum's wildest signee pops out a batch of songs you can laugh at and shake yer ass tew.

Upon scanning the track names on this or any Bob Log III release, you will immediatly realize this is not a man to take seriously. You could gather the same impression from seeing him live. How so? Well the man performs wearing a concealing motorcycle helmet and a full-body human cannonball suit, while he sits down in front of a kick drum with a guitar and screams barely understandable lyrics which usually pertain to his charactor or audience (which he involves in his on-stage antics) in a hilariously explicit manner.
With this wild n wierd brand of stage presence, it makes one all the more curious of how this act translates into a studio recording. Well, I can assure you that no energy is lost in that aspect. Mr. Log packed this LP full of greasy blues riffs, minimalist percussion, and hilarious juvinile lyricism. There are no frills, no emotional posings, and above all no filler (save for the 1 minute "clap" track). This album is a party in a CD case.
Thankfully, the lyrics are more understandable and the production is more crisp then the last album, "School Bus". But that only goes as far as it has too. Im not going to go into detail on the tracks of this release, mainly because this isnt the kind of music to be thoroughly analyzed. Instead, Im going to leave you with these simple words to describe them... DUMB. WIERD. FUN.
If you have a thing for the blues as well as punk rock and comedy, I highly recomend checking this guy out. And if you ever catch him playing live in your town, I can garuntee it will be a show to remember (Well, depending on how many hot girls and party favors are present). I would consider this his best record, but homeboy has 3 other LP's out, and theyre all more of the same. So if you like what you hear on this, you should be pleased with what you get with the rest of his catalog.
