Crown the Empire lived up to their potential with this release, including even better vocals to really top off the sound. To some this may sound generic, but I still haven't heard anything quite like it.

"Graveyard Souls" is a fantastic tune (love the circular motion), and the rest of the album doesn't disappoint. A nice blend of electronics/strings and modern post-hardcore, with some great vocal interplay.

0.0 | | November 16th 12 | Tight instrumentation, strong vocal delivery particularly on the cleans and orchestral backdrops with an overall theatrical theme are many of the things that were well executed with this album. While occasionally falling plague to generic tendencies, it isn't enough to drag this album down from being as enjoyable as it is.
