This is a very interesting live album in the vast Zappa discography. For one it has a lot of great tunes. Furthermore these tunes are played by a small tight band with only guitar, drums, bass, keyboard and one sax/horn player. So this is as close to a straight up rock band as it gets in the Zappa repertoire. Zappa is on top of things and plays some magnificent solo's (Carolina... Zoot..). The whole band is supertight and totally nails these technically demanding songs. Highly recommended for everyone that loves Zappa's rock albums.
