Just by looking at the cover art, reading the title and knowing that this album contains stories about Odin, the Vikings and Asgard, sets you in the right mood. However, White Skull's fierce and uptempo brand of power metal which brings to mind bands like Grave Digger and Running Wild, is solid enough to support all the above. Nevertheless, bear in mind that the female vocalist is an acquired taste as she sounds like the female version of Chris Boltendahl (Grave Digger) who also is doing guest vocals on this LP. Overall, great stuff if you're in an epic/fantasy mood.
