The Sculptures certainly makes their own distinct style on Escape. Taking in a variety of influences such as 80s rock, indie-pop, punk, and alternative, Escape makes for an intersting listen. However, at times, the production leaves the band sounding dry, empty, and boring. Also, the 3rd track is extremely weak, far weaker than the other 3 songs. If it weren't for track 3, this would be a 3.5/5.
