Allan?s best in my opinion. Next to the album released before it, I.O.U., I consider this Holdsworth?s best release. Just before he would get too invested in the atmospheric tension given by the synth-axe, here he still showed a very weird-chord jazz oriented sound. A lot of mad guitar-wankery is also present, which I always appreciate.
