could be that I have listened to too much muse in the last few days and am kinda jaded to it.
either way it doesn't really matter, this is a great album, but not a fantastic album, pretty big step down from Origins. I mean I pretty much enjoy almost any song on here, but even compared to their debut there is so much less energy on this album. Its already drifting towards bellamy's penchant for too much rock balladery.

When this shines, it really does shine! Stockholm Syndrome has quite possibly my favourite chorus by Muse, it just transcends into ridiculous heights I love it. Shame it's not super consistent, I find a lot of the ballads to be obvious dead spots on this, I just don't have a lot of love for them at all. And as above, The Small Print is one of my favourites from this, great tune!
