There playing at a local venue here in Jersey. Hopefully I can catch them. They got signed to Metal Blade also.

Their music is just...wow... The intro of "Death,I" makes my friend who thinks Dream theater is the best band in the world speechless...

Ya, I have a friend who thinks Dream Theater is the best band ever because they're impressive musicians. In that case why not listen to Psyopus. Well, then of course this friend has to argue back that they don't do a very good job of writing listenable music. Well, then neither does Dream Theater. They're cheesy. But then again, technicality and listenability does exist. Listen to The Fall of Troy. Almost too catchy.

I've heard Death, I, and I really didn't like it.

It was so difficult to listen to, as they shredded away as quickly as possible.

DFelon : Ya, i'm confused how Fall Of Troy can be technical and VERY Catchy at the same time... They kinda remind me of FBTMOF sometimes, with more guitar work..
I can't stand the singing though.. Too pop-punkish(?) Idon't know why, i'm not sure..

I don't care about their singing much. I figured out how they're so catchy though. Tapping. Lots of tapping. I mean hey, it worked for Europe so why not The Fall of Troy?

the tapping sound is so easy to find in TFoT. I can recognize their songs pretty fast usually because of it. Psyopus though = more, harder tapping.

I lobe this band. They need to start playing shows again soon because they are only an hour and a half away yet I've never seen them.

My only problem is that the vocals suck. Too generic.

Well it's only because I'm fond of PsyOpus. If I wasn't, I'd like your review. You go on and on about how the guitaring and drums are so great, yet then give it a 1? I just don't see how that works out.

In other words, even though it was well written and brought up good points, it isnt good to you because it doesnt take part in the circle jerk over this band.
