This album is certainly underrated. I prefer this over Axe To Fall.
Vengeance, Trophy Scars and To the Lions are some of their best songs.

To me this album is on par with Jane Doe in terms of inaccessibility. People who love jane doe but don't like this just didn't give it enough listens. I actually rated this album 2.5 at first listen.

This and Petitioning got me into Converge (and hardcore, really) in high school, but it kind of wore off as I got into the band and genre more. Relistened to this today for the first time in a while and I gotta eat my words, slapped me just as hard as it did 6 years ago. Oh well.
