Everyone's a poser deep inside, it's ok. I know I am

Also yes this and Gallery are better than SOTS

Yeah pretty much all my affinity for Slaughter is from sentimental value mostly. With Fear is probably the Gates album I gravitate to more nowadays.

I don't know if it's the best but it's definitely a top track. It is wild that it got left off but I also don't know what track I'd swap it for. They're all great. Goliaths does, without a doubt, have one of their coolest solos though

Could have switched it for Wayfaerer easily, would have been a really good replacement tbh

I wanna say Goliaths was one of the first In Flames songs I ever heard (besides Take This Life thanks to GH3), it was on the Brutal Legend soundtrack along with some other songs from Dark Tranquillity, Carcass, and Bodom and I played that game so much. It had a lot of good stuff between notable and lesser-known bands tbh.

I think Cloud Connected might've been my first in flames song, RtR definitely was my first IF album.

Cloud Connected was my first IF song too but Battles was their first album that I listened to in full. Weird introduction ngl.

Wayfaerer is probably my least favorite but I like that it kinda has a different vibe from the rest of the album. Kinda got like a gnr style solo

I actually hate gnr but I think it's pretty interesting for them to have that here

Wayfaerer has that vibe that feels like it should've been an EP/bonus song, it's still fun though, especially the solo.

I think my first IF song was Take This Life, which probably gives almost as much information about me away as if I were to post my social security number.
