Well Oceanic is a 5 for sure. Despite Panopticon and Oceanic being my favs, this one has something that the others don't for me. It's different. But then again, all of their albums are a little different. Plus the drumming is fucking fantastic. At times I'm actually like "Danny Carey where did you come from" haha

Over Root and Thorn and the interlude are the only tracks that don't really do it for me, but with taking this in a little more maybe the rest will grow too.

Wow really? Where the hell would that song fit lol

Dulcinea, Wrists Of Kings and 1,000 Shards are my favs. Holy Tears also riffs pretty hard.

I'm glad they broke up on good terms with no regrets, but even with that said I wish they'd make a new one :/

I find this album to be the least coherent but still amazing nonetheless. Wrists Of Kings, Not In Rivers, But in Drops, Holy Tears and Garden of Light are superb tracks

Yea there's lots of my favorite Isis moments on here, but I don't find as many transcending moments like in Weight or Syndic Calls. Dulcinea and Garden Of Light are up there though.

Aaron's drumming is tight as hell. He's got a very Danny Carey feel on here.

I really love this album, but sometimes the production just pisses me off.

I think I can grasp what they were going for, but it feels like they missed the mark a bit in that regard.

Props for trying tho.

What's wrong with the production? None of their albums irk me in that regard.

Aaron just pounding away on those drums is incredible in the beginning of Wrists Of Kings. He often becomes my favorite part of this one.
