Dreadful album. This is the sequel to the pretentious album known as The Wall.
Let me say that Pink Floyd is a terrible band, but a Roger Waters solo album is even worse and that's exactly what this is.
The Final Cut is 40 minutes of atrocious music with Waters ranting in his irritating voice. He babbles on about postwar optimism, his bitter dead dad, his stance on war, and spews political bs.
If you want to hear a terrible vocal performance and piano as the dominant instrument, then this album is for you. There is virtually no guitar or drums on this album.
Self-absorbed asshole Roger Waters really took control with this one.
This album should be renamed to... The Final Nail In The Coffin.
