I haven't really listened to much off the album, so I really don't have strong opinions either way, but I think if you really try to expand your musical tastes from pop-punk, you may find music more passionate and thought-provoking.
One band I recommend to try and get into that is At the Drive-in. When I first listened to them a couple months back it really blew my mind with the passion in the vocals and lyrics.
So, that's just my opinion, take it or leave it.
