Out of the whole 'NWOAHM' scene back in the days these guys had the most tasteful playing in terms of implementing leads and such. Also, love or hate the vox, but I can't think of any other vocalist who sounds like Brian.

Jon’s lead playing always had a very Dan Spitz feel to it, so it seems really fitting he is now in Anthrax.



Brian’s vox are so nuts, it always sounds like two people screaming at once to me for some reason

Yeah I remember Donais and Bachand being a super hyped tandem and Donais' lead playing was what drew me to the band.

Donais was a great lead player and I especially loved that liquidy EL34 solo tone on The Art of Balance. Still really dig some of the solos on that album, like A Fire in Babylon. This one, was somewhat less engaging and then they totally fell off creatively. The full length after this also just sounded like shit production wise

I was infatuated with this album when it came out
