mental vortex, manic impressions, extravasation, victims of deception and rust in peace were released in the 90s

Yeah, but I'm generalizing. Plus, I believe most of those were released at the beginning of the 90's. From '95 to 2005, it was mostly shite.
Of course, that applies to bands that went mainstream. Those who stayed underground did some good stuff in that era.

'Yeah, but I'm generalizing.'
Well don't do that.

I find it interesting to look for general trends in music. However, I'll
admit that the appreciation of those trends is always limited by
subjectivity.

I thought subjectivity and objectivity were like taboo words on the site now

This album was to me at least as bad as Point of Entry, and of course they both sound so pathetic in comparison to Sad Wings, Stained Class, and Painkiller.

"Yeah this is bad."
It's too bad it seems we lost the Sad Wings, Stained Class, Defenders, and Painkiller Priest for two freaking decades.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
Although it seems Rush has defied that norm to some degree.

@dannyboy89 Yes, Rush really pulled off a consistant discography. Even their worst albums are pretty good.
@facupm Indeed, and I thought Nostradamus was just average .
