another thing to remember is that diecast was doing metalcore long before most people....although there aren't any original members left....but they still rip, i didnt have much hope after TDYBS but for once a band steps foward instead of back!

I agree fully Burnyourface butTDYBS was pretty solid though. These guys are quite underrated as is Burn In Silence.

Just an average melodic metalcore album compared to their 2nd,tearing down the blue skies...some songs are real good some are ok, but the melody kills the whole album whole especially their rock ballads. Its a dragging album thats for sure.

Diecast definately isn't very 'core any more, but they made their name back in the day as a metal band that existed predominately in Hardcore circles. I think one of the strengths of this album is that the breakdowns use alot of different types of grooves that other bands aren't using...hopefully we'll see some new stuff from them soon.
