I can see that Doof - this doesn’t have a hard-hitter as immediate as yr “Carry Me Ohio”, “Katy Song”, “Carissa”, “Medicine Bottle”, “Lost Verses”, “Alesund” etc etc but it’s really consistent. I already like this more than April (still my least fav Koz I’ve heard) and probably Bridge, but it prob won’t make my top 5 - that’s just a mark of how consistent his stuff is though.
Sowing I’d be shocked if you couldn’t find at least one album to love in the Kozelek oeuvre.

Ohhh, so this is Mark Kozelek's band? Interesting.

Great album for an overcast day.

The use of strings and piano bring a lot to this. This feels like the first major move toward where Kozelek would go with early Sun Kil Moon. Back half of this is def for overcast days but the first few songs are downright sunny for this band's standards.

It’s my favourite song on the album
I’d rate it a 5 out of 5 classic
A lot of times I play it I find it near unlistenable
It’s all those things

yeah that one's rough
I think I like "San Geronimo", "Summer Dress", "Brockwell Park" and "Red Carpet" more though.

It’s 13 and a half minutes long but feels even longer
‘San Geronimo’ is class. Think you’ll love ‘Songs for a Blue Guitar’
