I bought this album from a thrift store a few months ago and I literally hated it. I now inexplicably love it.

This and The Rhythm of the Saints are too of his greatest masterpieces, even when considering his career with Simon & Garfunkel

Simon & Garfunkel trump basically everything ever. Those guys were poets and folk magicians. Most of the music I love today (Sufjan, Tigers on Trains) can be traced to their influence.

Yeah. As far as personal preferences though I like the intimate feel of some of the s&g stuff a lot. America will prolly forever be my favorite song Paul Simon was involved with.
