"Fucking chilling how poetically and sincerely some Swedes paint a picture of dystopian future in english, its like they've actually got some kind of insight and are warning us but they got too popular before the loominarty got a chance to snuff em"
Don't Swedes pay a lot of taxes?

All socialist countries pay higher taxes

I'll pay whatever taxes they ask of me, as long as I can get that sweet ass standard of living that they got

Things cost loads as well, they must get paid a lot otherwise after you pay your tax & pay for all the other essentials you’d be broke.

Pretty sure they get paid less too and are pretty much all broke in the way that they have very little material wealth, but all the things that would cost the most (healthcare, education, housing) are free/subsidised

Yeah I don't mind the high tax tradeoffs either. However, doesn't the government also help you when you wanna buy a house or car? If true, that is pretty fuckin sweet.

"Also Future Breed Machine holy shit m/"
Fuck yeah bro m/ that song rules
And even though I adore this album and Chaosphere, I'm actually happy they did away with the thrash elements and went in their own direction because they basically invented their own genre and transcended that whole scene imo
And y'all a bunch of commies
Lol jokes, but for real people seem to fetishize places like Sweden which is infinitely smaller, infinitely less compex and infinitely less diverse economically. Not to get too into the politics here, but part of my problem with Sanders is that he didn't regionalize his economic plan - basically treating places like Louisiana and NYC as the same. Also in terms of healthcare, free healthcare is also vastly inferior in quality - I mean this is incredibly complex if we get into taxes, healthcare, small businesses, etc but it's a lot more complicated than some of the comments here seem to think. I don't know if this is the rgiht forum to talk about it on though aha

I think the stuff with a hint of thrash is my favourite from them, feels fresher
I know its become cliche to say it but it is truly unbelievable how ahead of their time these guys were... like 1995 whaaaa?? This is visionary. May have to 5 finally

I really wish more people knew about Candiria. They were doing much of the same polyrhythmic progressive metal stuff back in the mid-late 90s, while adding even more bizarre stuff like random free jazz breaks and hip-hop segments.
