Yeah this used to be my number 1 of all time and its still in my top 5 probs but honestly ive played the shit out of this album so it got a bit tired.
I actually listen to Art Damage much more regularly cos that one goes hard and its easier to listen to the songs off that in any random order. When I take a song from this and put it in a playlist out of its natural order it feels like blasphemy

honestly every other album by these guys is pretty different. First one is like a Heavy Heavy Low Low album [eg a melting pot of screamo, metalcore, emo, hardcore] second is abrasive metalcore, and their last one is a post hardcore album where it sort of sounds like they phoned it in, but does have some great moments
Personally I think this and Art Damage are their best

i still just think the production on this tops any other 'core' album by miles. Still feels ridiculously layered and atmospheric. through a good pair of headphones this is just bliss for me
and yeah i remember getting you into them through deer hunter, what a fucking track
