Are you serious? Fall Of Troy over Mastodon? I don't think so.

I would get this if there wasn't a 17$ price tag attached to it.
|
| |
I got it for $9.99 on Itunes (boo!), and I want to get the actual CD, but it's only like, $11 or something around here.

I'm still trying to figure out why i dont have this. The Wolf Is Loose is the best song on the album.

No it's definatly not.

I was really intrigued by the song with Cedric in it so I downloaded it, listening to it right now (the song not the album).

Okay, I'm trying to find out why they have him in there. He does a bit of wailing and then pretty much disappears. Oh well, I am actualy feeling preasured by this song to buy the album.

hey cjwbball51, you've got a good point, i haven't actually reviewed any albums i don't like yet, mainly because if i don't like an album, i don't find myself wanting to listen to it any more in order to analyse and review it.
however, a mate of mine keeps trying to convert me to several of her dodgy emo-pop albums, so unless i may force myself to listen to them sometime soon and review them. and it won't be a premeditated review, i just don't think, from the few songs i've already heard, that i'm gonna like them...

Sleeping Giant is probably the best track on the album and its one of my favorite Mastodon songs. But the rest of this album really cant live up to that song.

I still think Colony Of Birchmen is the best on the album, regardless of its single status.

This album is so fvcking cool. Leviathan was much more of a straight forward metal album with some cool changes of pace with some cool acoustics.
But this album is just much more experimental and progressive.

I'm with Hbp - "Colony of Birchmen" is my personal favorite. I can just listen to it over and over again, and it's still completely awesome.
