Still not seeing how "Touch of Red" and "In Search for I" are the bad tracks.

This album, which is deemed as their worst by many, contains 2 of my favorite songs of all time: The Quiet Place and Evil in a Closet

Both are amazing!

"Maybe in another lifetime I could be the first you met"

Evil In A Closet is rocking. Shame the majority of this album is subpar

The problem with this album is that it contains three of their best songs - Evil In A Closet, My Sweet Shadow and The Quiet Place. F(r)iend, Dead Alone, Touch of Red and In Search For I are all pretty decent too. The rest of the album is filler.

In Search for I isnt too great imo, though you got the 3 best right. Super Hero of the Computer Rage rules also.

Yes. F(r)iend, The Quiet Place and Evil In A Closet are all great. I'm also quite partial to Like You Better Dead, even though it's pretty average.

But this is nowhere near their early material, however I am a biased Jester Race/Whoracle fan.

^While I like the guitars on those albums, Anders is so low in the mix he might as well not be there. Which annoys me (particularly as the songs are structured as if there were vocals).

My Sweet Shadow is their magnum opus guys. And yeah, I like Like You Better Dead too...but Super Hero is one of the filler songs. I often get that one mixed up with Borders and Shading.

This album is when Anders first started sounding like the Korn vocalist, which is not a good point for me, but it does have some decent tracks.

The end of the album just kinda blends together. This Message Edited On 12.26.08

Yeah the first half of the album is clearly the stronger half.

And nah, their magnum opus by far is Jester Script Transfigured. Thats one of my favorite songs ever written.

Jester Script Transfigured does own a lot of face.

Their magnum opus has to be anything from their first few albums, definitely not anything from this album onward.

No. They were. Everything sounds washed out, Anders sounds like his shouting across a carpark at the mic.
