Watching "Live at the Ritz (1988)" at the moment and damn it's fine. Axl was an awesome showman.

I actually think Back in Black has sold 50m, and this album at least 20m... A little of that is the time that has passed

This is very, very good. I haven't listened to the full album and I have to admit, were I to, I would have been ready to love it because of pre-existing expectations. Something interesting for me to think about when forming judgment on things around me. You probably had the opportunity to be impartial better than most!

Axl Rose became 52 today. Happy birthday you crazy bastard. Probably the last true rocker.

Today is Axl Rose's birthday AND karaoke night? I wasn't planning on going out, but the universe has spoken.

Not bad at all Sitar. Have seen better to be honest, the solo of that song is sweet but most of the
album is bland. Not like this album which rules as hell and is only criticized by clueless people and
lame hipsters who hate this band just because of axl's behavior or because their most famous songs are
very well known among the people.

What?! No! Mine is the best!

Seriously though, Chinese Democracy and Better are, I think, among the best GNR tracks. But, I don't really understand the hate for AFD around these parts either.

Is simple, is cool for lame hipsters and butthurt purists to hate everything made by Guns N' Roses for 2 reasons: The first one is that they consider axl a douche and they think that the other members are lame or sellout due to the fact that they are well known among the mainstream and rock circles ( that reason is a pathetic excuse to hate a band specially considering that all the 5 members of that band have a considerable amount of skill), the second one is that they consider that most of the songs made by this band are overplayed, I can understand this but most of the singleslike welcome to the jungle, paradise city and more all well constructed and have certain amount of emotion.
