@Titan: Doubtful. The majority of my issues are with Axl Rose, and he hasn't aged well at all in the vocal department (despite already sucking ass to begin with). Otherwise, this is just boring 80s sleaze. Take Axl off and this is a 2.5, maybe even a light 3.

yeah axl does get annoying over the course of an entire album. I like this album but his voice is my least favorite part. I disagree though, this is different from the 80's sleaze stuff at the time, more heavy and more attitude for sure.
there are also filler songs on the album like My Michelle

My Michelle is a good song, but it sure as hell isn't Top 2 on an album with Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Rocket Queen, Mr. Brownstone, Nightrain, and Sweet Child o' Mine.
