Great review bubs. This album is hard to digest for me. Tracks 2-4 are incredible. But as a critic, the full album doesn’t hit it for me personally.
Good on you for the positivity. We both know, Erra is a grower type band so this may change for me.

idle wild is phenomenal. harmonics in that song are perfectly deployed and thats a classic jesse hook if ive ever heard one. this doesn't really hit it's stride for me until glimpse honestly but that and blue reverie are def my favorites beforehand
i seem to hold the semi controversial take here that rumor of light, while dope and a song i dig, is pretty solidly one of the weakest for me. that pre chorus is one of the only moments where i can sympathize with the common complaints here it's so flavorless to me, but at least there's a cool harmony under it the last time it shows up
