Yea, same here Nero. I saw them live in Atlanta the other day and they were ****ing amazing. They put on an awesome show. Most bands just play. They put on an actual show.

I met the female singer and drummer and I talked the bass player for a few minutes. He was a really cool guy. He said that he didn't listen to much metal and I told him I was really into black metal mostly. He said the core members of the band were mostly into black metal, which I thought was cool. He showed me a huge blister on his thumb as well, which he said came from just that night. I asked where he got his crazy 9 string bass from. He said he had it custom-made in Oregon.

They didn't steal the show though in Atlanta. The ****ing Nile fans are some of the biggest ****ing ignorant morons in the world and there was one guy that kept telling them they suck. I left when Nile started playing because it was shite. Their sound quality was terrible. Very boring.

I meant they stole the show from my perspective... lol. But the other people there seemed to at least enjoy it, I didn't hear any heckling going on.

Suicide Silence on the other hand... got so much shit, it was hilarious... but they deserve the piss.

I saw these guys open for Nile and I wasn't sure what to make of it, but this review has made me want to check them out. Thanks!

I avoided Suicide Silence like the plague. I walked out of the venue during their set. I came back shortly for Nile until I realized that they were boring. While I talked to Unexpect's bass player I saw them very briefly before I walked out. Lots of hardcore dancing. I wanted to punch all of the hardcore dancing scene kids. I don't think they were heckled at all.

I hate hecklers. If you don't like it then ****ing leave. Nobody is forcing you to listen to a band you don't like. Anyone who goes on stage at least deserves that much respect. Some guy said, "**** you, you suck" to Unexpect so I of course had to turn around and say, "**** you" back to him. That's just idiotic imo.

As far as I could tell, uneXpect were treated fairly well here in Houston, but I was right in front and may not have noticed. I stood back for Suicide Silence and a lot of the old Nile fans heckled the shit out of them...

This album is pretty awesome...and fantastic review by the way mr coke...i think it's a little too long for it's own good but i can even look past that because every song in itself is excellent.

Summoning Scenes is magnanimously stupendous...this is the first album i have ever really liked with a female vocalist...she just fits with what is going on...3.5 right now but probably will move up to a 4-4.5 with more listens.

Pretty good album but i can't get completely into it because of its shifting nature

Definitely some moments of pure bliss but i think it's wayyy too long

I guess i'm going to check out the EP b4 this. Shorter and more succinct probably would suit my tastes better

Excellent review cocaine, you are wquite the wordsmith and your reviews are almost always excellent, i love you!

Excellent album and extremely original, combining many different styles that blend into a chaotic atmosphere just so perfectly. Musicianship very enjoyable as well, and I'm not only saying that because they come from a city near mine ;)!!!

I saw them last night...seriously the greatest show ever. Plus I met everyone, and got all their signatures 8D

Sigh was awesome too, the chick in the band was in a leather bra and short short skirt, and she spit fire

This album really did save music for me...well, this and everything Sleepytime Gorilla Museum has done. Music was getting really boring and it was great to see these guys (and girl) come in a shake things up with a great record. Please check this out!!

These guys rule live. Talked to their bassist for a few minutes, he was a pretty cool dude.

I think I prefer Utopia to this. Not a bad album, it wore off on me after a while though.
