Yeah I'd argue that Leave Me Alone still works overall but it was definitely disappointing how it just deflates after the opening verse, especially since it's the most intense they get on the whole record. Feels like a bait and switch, especially the first time.

This is gonna sound rash and unreasonable and that’s because it is, and I have no other examples to go off of past this band, but white British dudes should just leave anything close to rap the fuck alone. This guys lyrics are already terrible but it’s semi excusable when it’s a scream that I can’t really understand or sung decently, but god any attempt at a rap flow is fucking terrible. Title track is so guilty of this

This album is if you asked chat GPT to make the most generic sirius xm octanecore imaginable with some good solos. white British rapping is currently 0 for 2 for me but I’ve only heard Ed Sheeran spitting the worst bars I’ve ever heard in my fucking life on that Galway Girl song and now this guy. I will say the decent parts of this record have made me want to revisit their other shit that people say aren’t complete trash.
