@Outliers I'm shocked I was able to listen to the whole thing at all, let alone multiple times

Both "Self Hell" and "Leave Me Alone" are two of the most deliciously garbage songs I've ever heard, "Lets praise the love inside of us" is exactly the kind of post-millennial mindfulness cope that makes me dry heave on arrival. Maybe if love is everything this band has they should take some music lessons.

Thanks y'all. It was honestly fun to tear this shit apart. It's that sort of bad that just needs a thorough demolishing

"I don't understand why anybody listens to this band post 2015"

Mainly because they're playing at Download this year and will likely be heavy on their more modern material, so have half an eye on whether they are worth catching or not.

Not even gonna bother with this. The two albums before this sucked too and it looks like this is even worse.

The lead single off this album was awful, don't think I'll bother checking the whole thing out.

No doubt kerrang will praise this album as "the future of metalcore" or something

If it wasn't for To The Flowers, this would've been a 0.5

I do enjoy some of what they tried to do here. Leave Me Alone especially has grown on me quite a bit after a few listens, same with Self Hell (even if I still hate the main hook). Down and To the Flowers are absolutely the best tracks here though I agree. The lead guitar work remains a strength through a lot of this, as has been a constant through their career. To the Flowers is legitimately a great song outside out that weirdly out of place bridge before the end.

The biggest disappointment for me is that there is no certified banger. Leave Me Alone comes closest but sadly it doesn't commit to it. There are no songs on this that come close to Trophies of Violence, Revolt or even No Defeat for the Grave in terms of pure energy and intensity, and those were often the band at their best to me.

Title track has gotta be one of the worst title tracks for an album out there
