The review really paints this as an awful album but it really isn't that bad. If someone had this on during a game night or was playing it in the car, I wouldn't mind it at all.
I feel some parallels to Fallujah in the usage of melodic electronic sounds. It is definitely a departure from what was colloquially known as metalcore 20 years ago.

I don't think that "functions as background muzak" is a good quality for an album lmao
Also, if you hate the flavor of my review you should play "PVRNHVB" at a party or in the car with some friends, I bet no one will ask you to turn it off

For me, upbeat music functions best as background music so from my perspective it's a fine quality for this kind of album.
