Yeah don’t rush it…’Sophtware Slump’ is considered their best and could blow your mind, very varied in styles…then ‘Sumday’ is a bit like the more upbeat (mostly) version of this album (consistent sound)
The debut is ‘none more lo-fi’ and yup, that rules too

3 of my all time favorite grandaddy songs were actually released as one-off singles between their last release and this: Bison on the Plains, RIP Coyote Condo #5 and their cover of Blindness. Absolutely incredible stuff.

This one works a lot better for me than ‘Fambly’
This almost feels like if ‘Fambly’ had committed to what worked best on that album like ‘Guide Down’ and ‘Where I’m Anymore’ and went with it.

‘Jukebox App’ and ‘Ducky’ are up there too in the run for best song but I think this is great front to back.
Not their most varied but maybe their most consistent.Not really a poor song on ‘Sophtware Slump’ either though, would still say that’s their best
