Agree with gabba. Heavy tracks are on the front and I need to explore more on the back half but still absolutely amazed, I didn't feel any fatigue. The heavy stuff reminded me a lot of The Angelic Process

The Bjork comparisons are legit. There are two tracks in the late middle that sound like Mark Bell and Matmos doing beats in hell.

This is incredible. Immediately the best thing she’s done since Abyss, maybe better. So pleasantly surprised

Thanks goat!

Gotta say that being with the promo for this for like a month was torture. I don't think I'll ever do it again, but I wanted to be sure we had a thread for this on day zero.

The mid tracks are really clicking with me now.

Very well written review!

And yeah, on first listen I'll have to agree, this album is masterfully crafted. I need some more spins to tell if this is just me listening to it with a good mood, but the electronic influences were right up my alley and had so many perfectly crafted timbres and hooks. So this is shaping up to be a 5, I'm super glad I got into her with this one

Just saved all of her stuff to my Bandcamp, will get to them all soon. Abyss was the one I was gonna go for next. Will jam it later tonight or sometime this weekend.

Good shit Hawks, hope you enjoy it. Her catalogue is flawless for me, not a single bad album. One of the most consistently amazing artists of the last 20 years.

I’m only on Salt, so three songs I’ve already heard, but yeah man this is legit. Everything Turns Blue is a lot better coming off of House of Self Undoing, which was really unexpectedly upbeat.

that stretch from Liminal to the end is dense at the beginning but it will start to make sense after a few listens. "Unseen World" is really a sleeper.
