Whole album is just such a monumental piece. I've had that trem pick sequence from Paint of an Invader in my head all week. The interlude goes a bit long and could've been cut by half by that final drone in the closing track is a highlight of the album for me

Paint of an Invader has one of the best closing segments of any track I can recently recall. This album is bonkers.

Is nobody talking about this album anymore? Am I alone in the cave?

Little late to the party but man, this album hits from front to back with the only dull moment being the instrumental. Absolutely loved Liquid Gold.

I cannot get enough of this album. I think I have spun it 30+ times in full so far if I had to estimate and there's like 20 parts throughout the album that I stop and go "yeah, this is the good stuff".

"Drum machine brings this down a bit"

Honestly it's the bell of the ride cymbals that stand out the most. Somebody needs to figure out some new drum machine ride cymbal technology.

I can't even tell this is a drum program record and even if I was able to tell it wouldn't bother me all that much. I use MIDI drums in my own recordings because I am a broke pleb and don't have a set of my own so I am not going to fault a band for taking this route due to whatever circumstances stopped them from having a true drummer perform on the record. This thing is special

listened again for Zakusz. Still goes hard. Executes the atmo-heavies with a couple of lighter moments pretty darn well

Beyond Recognition and Liquid Gold are tops
